Il nostro Pego ne aveva parlato un paio di mesi fa nell’articolo che presentava le decisioni della commissione europea per ridurre i costi legati al roaming. Dopo Vodafone e O2, in Inghilterra anche Tre lancia il suo piano dati anti roaming: Euro Internet Pass. Per una cifra pari a poco più di 6€ al giorno (non proprio a buon prezzo, ma sempre meglio della situazione attuale) si potrà navigare illimitatamente, solo in Europa, nei seguenti paesi (sono previsti accordi per estendere il servizio): Austria, Belgio, Bulgaria, Cipro, Repubblica Ceca, Danimarca, Estonia, Finlandia, Francia, Germania, Grecia, Ungheria, Irlanda, Italia, Lettonia, Lituania, Lussemburgo, Malta, Olanda, Portogallo, Romania, Slovacchia, Slovenia, Spagna, Svezia, Città del Vaticano e Monaco. Nei paesi attualmente non compresi o in caso di mancata attivazione del nuovo piano, la navigazione in roaming costerà l’equivalente di circa 1,6€/Mb. Al momento dell’attivazione del dispositivo Tre UK invia un sms all’utente che lo avvisa della possibilità di attivare il nuovo piano; non è prevista la possibilità di tethering. Mi auguro che Tre Italia si adegui al più presto alla casa madre visto i miei tre abbonamenti H3G ed i miei frequenti viaggi all’estero.
Three UK launches anti roaming European data plan: Euro Internet Pass
Our Pego had spoken a couple of months ago in presenting the article about decisions of the European Commission to reduce the costs of roaming. After Vodafone and O2, Three UK also launched its anti roaming data plan: Euro Internet Pass. For a cost of just over 6 € per day (not exactly cheap, but better than the current situation) you can use unlimited connection, only in Europe, in the following countries (there are agreements to extend the service): Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Vatican Citu and Monaco. In countries not supported or new plan activation, roaming will cost the equivalent of about 1.6 €/Mb. Upon activation of the device Three UK sends a text message to the user that notifies him of the possibility to activate the new plan, tethering wion’t be allowed. I hope Three Italy adapts to mother house as soon as possible, due my three H3G contracts and my frequent trips abroad.
